Description

The discovery of the burial site of Tutankhamun by archaeologist Howard Carter in 1922 revived the interest for Egypt and influenced many art deco designers which started using Egyptian patterns and symbols in their work.

By mixing scarabs and suns, two Egyptians symbols for eternity, with art deco ornaments this scarf is a tribute to this period.

Our squares are all hand rolled and made of the highest grade quality silk twill (6A grade silk). They are available in 45x45cm (to be used as pocket squares or bandanas) and in 90x90cm (to be worn as scarves or shawls).
