The discovery of the burial site of Tutankhamun by archaeologist Howard Carter in 1922 revived the interest for Egypt and influenced many art deco designers which started using Egyptian patterns and symbols in their work.
By mixing scarabs and suns, two Egyptians symbols for eternity, with art deco ornaments this scarf is a tribute to this period.
